thanks to Good Weather for Airstrikes, i've been listening to this song all day. The post is a bit old, so I uploaded this song to my own server for everyone.

There's this Canadian woman named Leslie Feist. My friend thinks she's amazing. I have to admit, I think "Mushaboom" is okay, and so is her other stuff, but it's not GREAT. Sorry. But I do enjoy this remix of "Mushaboom" done by The Postal Service! It's so got that PS touch, along with Ben's voice. Mmm.

looks like this time again I'll have to back-track on what I said...

I can't believe I haven't made a post about The Olivia Tremor Control yet. Probably because everyone knows them already and how GREAT they are, butyeah. Well, thanks to Optical Atlas, I've found a rare demo version of the song, "Love Athena". To be technically correct, it's a demo by the band The Sunshine Fix which is Bill Doss's band (of the OTC)...but, youknow. I was so excited by the intro that I was hoping that the whole song would be taken down a notch. Even though it's not, it's still an interesting listen. So, check it out!

making an exception.

So, I'm taking a break from my break to bring you a pretty rare song that I've been looking for. Well, there's this small band called Death Cab for Cutie (ha) who I heard word of when they released Transatlanticism (who didn't?). Ever since then, I've been obsessed. I've collected rare songs, international EPs, etc. And recently, I decided to look for live bootlegs (since I went to their show and it was AMAZING) and songs related to the band. Thankfully, I found the song that inspired the band's name (by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band)...but that's not what I'm here to share. What I've constantly been looking for is the original version of "Wait"
performed by The Secret Stars. Well, I finally did. And it was easier than expected! I've googled it a million times before, but today, the song came up first result! It's a pretty interesting tune and while I think Death Cab's version is better, I like the simplicity of this one. I found it on this website which has a nice little discography on it. So, go support...even though I'm sure all their albums are out of print.

(this is an MP2 file, all I could find...but it should still play with quicktime.)

So, I hope I made your searching a little bit easier!
